Executive Letter

Dear Potential Donor,

We hope this letter finds you well. Here at Port Royal Primary School, the PTA's sole purpose is to support the administration, teachers, and staff to ensure we provide an in-depth and well-rounded education for our students. We conducted school-wide surveys in October 2023 and July 2024 to develop our strategic plan for the academic year of 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, respectively. As a result, our budget is directly linked to advancing our students' education experiences based on real needs identified by teachers and staff, which the Ministry of Education does not cover.

This has resulted in our PTA conducting several fundraisers to support the classroom experience, foster career events, extend our sports program, and provide the necessary equipment to enhance learning.

This has included but is not limited to extending our gymnastics program with a kip bar and balance beam, supportive Cambridge learning resources such as electrical circuits, magnifiers, new softball mitts, sight word cards, headphones for those unable to afford them, music and art resources, window blinds, science and math support resources, and desk blockers. We have also conducted upgrades to reopen our school library and teacher training room. In addition to these accomplishments, we have conducted various volunteer initiatives since we launched our Parent Volunteer Teams last year, consisting of 55 parent volunteers representing 12 volunteer teams covering areas such as Career Day, Advancing Student Reading Skills, "Fix-It" Team, etc.

This letter provides your company with the opportunity to partner with us to reach our financial goals, either through a one-time donation or an ongoing partnership. Our focus is to get ahead of the upcoming academic year to fulfill our 2024-2025 financial targets goals found on page 9. Based on the last projection, Port Royal is marked as one of the last schools to close with a gradual closing plan. As a result, we will continue to focus on advancing our students as we will continue to exist for at least seven years.
